West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW) is excited to announce the return of nonstop flights to Tampa, Florida (TPA) with Breeze Airways beginning today, October 3, 2025. Flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays, offering travelers convenient access to one of Florida’s most popular destinations.

“We are grateful to our state and local partners for supporting this innovative partnership with Breeze Airways,” said Dominique Ranieri, Airport Director and CEO of West Virginia International Yeager Airport. “Together, we are expanding air service options for West Virginians and strengthening connections that support both our community and our economy.”

Since Breeze Airways first launched at CRW in May 2023, the airline has helped more than double the number of nonstop destinations from the airport. Nearly 80,000 travelers have flown with Breeze to or from CRW, and a recent study found the airline generated $27.5 million in total economic output in its first year of service, while also contributing to a 12.5% decrease in average fares at the airport.

“This will be our fifth route served out of Charleston as we continue to welcome new and returning Guests from the region onboard our flights,” said David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways. “We are so excited to be expanding in the community and connecting our Guests to more affordable travel.”

Breeze Airways, one of the nation’s fastest-growing airlines, now operates more than 300 direct routes to 72 cities in 32 states. At CRW, the partnership has played a significant role in increasing passenger traffic, with more than 401,000 travelers passing through the airport last year.
