We’re thrilled to announce that the Wings for All® program will be landing at West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW) on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM!
Wings for All® is a unique airport rehearsal program designed specifically for individuals with autism or other intellectual and developmental disabilities. This incredible event gives families the opportunity to practice every step of the air travel process in a safe and supportive environment.
What to Expect
Participants and their families will:
- Enter the airport and obtain a boarding pass.
- Go through TSA security screening.
- Board a real airplane (that does not take off). After deboarding, a small reception will be held, complete with light snacks, refreshments, and local vendors.
Why Wings for All® Matters
Air travel can often be overwhelming, especially for individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities. Wings for All® helps make future travel experiences less stressful and more confident by familiarizing families with the airport process.
Registration Details
This event is free for families, but pre-registration is required as space is limited. Priority will be given to first-time participants.
